ELNahar Commercial Company was established in 1980 as a small family business specializing in providing Audiological services in Egypt. El Nahar started as the sole agent for Veinnatone and in few years time it successfully acquired Phonak, Untiron, Activair, A&M, Westra and Interacoustics.
ElNahar is leader in Audiological services in Egypt, with a market share of 20% and 9 major distributors spread from north to south. Back in the 80’s El Nahar had only 5 employees with only one engineer for maintenance and after- sale services. However, with ElNahar focus on providing high value services to its customer’s, growth was inevitable. The management team realized the significance of its own people and therefore, regularly sent both its management and engineers to attend Seminars, conferences and training in a number of foreign countries like Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark. ElNahar Family has now reached 30 employees with a high level of specialization in order to meet the companies’ vision of exceeding customers’ expectations.
Early in the 90’s El Nahar management realized the significance of the government sector as a very prosperous segment. El Nahar has pioneered in signing the first deal with Government Health Insurance sector. Later, more deals were signed with Army, Police and All University in Egypt.
ElNahar also realized the significance of the regular consumers and still maintains huge sales by directly selling to the normal consumers.
